Incident Response

Matta provides incident response, and along with our partners at Control Risks Group we can provide a soup to nuts response service, which includes analysis of the incident, advice on remediation measures, forensic work, and if necessary providing expert witness testimony.

Incidents include external breach of security, resulting in system compromise, many cases in which it is then impractical to perform standard recovery procedures because of the scale of the breach, or perhaps because the time or method of breach is unknown.

Internal breaches are also not uncommon, where disgruntled third party suppliers or employees cause an incident, introduce viruses or bring core systems down.
