What is Colossus?

Colossus represents new thought leadership in Vulnerability Assessment. Using a solid base of proven trusted technologies, Matta has built an assessment platform which operates a vastly improved model for security testing.

Unlike other VA tools, Colossus works like a consultant, and delivers a report which looks as though a highly paid security professional could have written it.

Colossus gives you the option to download in to a Word Processing document, or a PDF report, and the flexible XML data set, with rich meta data, allowing you to import the information in to a multitude of other management systems.

When to use Colossus

Ideally, Colossus should be used as part of a holistic security strategy. Monthly Vulnerability Assessments with Colossus will check amongst other things:

	That you are using the latest patches your infrastructure requires
	That any configuration changes made have not accidentally weakened your defences
	That any managed firewalls and routers continue to be maintained as expected
	That updates to web servers or ecommerce servers have been carried out according to best practice
